The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program at Four Rivers Career Center provides a comprehensive pathway into the nursing profession. Designed as an intensive program, it prepares students to deliver quality care in a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and home health agencies. The program features a blended learning approach, combining classroom instruction with supervised clinical experiences to ensure students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Upon successful completion of the LPN program, graduates are eligible to take the LPN licensure exam, opening doors to immediate employment opportunities. Furthermore, the LPN program serves as a stepping stone towards advanced nursing education, as it articulates into the LPN to RN Bridge program at ECC Rolla. This bridge program allows practicing LPNs to continue their education and earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in nursing, ultimately becoming Registered Nurses. The program creates opportunities for personal and professional growth within the healthcare sector.
