LVN LPN Programs
The LPN program at Charles H. McCann Technical School is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment necessary to excel as Licensed Practical Nurses. The comprehensive curriculum covers foundational nursing concepts, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical-surgical nursing, alongside specialized areas such as maternal-newborn, pediatric, and geriatric care. A significant portion of the program involves hands-on clinical experiences in diverse healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their learning in real-world scenarios. These clinical rotations may take place in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and community health organizations. Typically, an LPN program is completed within one to two years, depending on the program structure. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN examination, and upon passing, become licensed and qualified to work as LPNs in a variety of healthcare settings, providing essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
