Southeastern Community College LPN Program in West Burlington, IA

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program at Southeastern Community College is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in healthcare. This program combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experiences to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to provide safe and effective patient care. The curriculum typically covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, maternal-child health, and mental health. Students will learn essential nursing skills such as administering medications, wound care, vital sign monitoring, and patient education. The program generally lasts approximately 12-18 months.
