The Practical Nursing program at George C. Wallace State Community College-Selma provides a comprehensive educational experience designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). This program, approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing and accredited by ACEN, focuses on delivering bedside patient care under the guidance of registered nurses, physicians, or dentists. Furthermore, graduates can seamlessly transition into the college’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program through the LPN-to-RN Mobility program, offering a clear path for career advancement.
