Capital Area School of Practical Nursing offers an exceptional, accelerated pathway to becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. This intensive nine-month LPN program is structured into four sequential quarters, designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in practical nursing. Students benefit from a curriculum focused on developing the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for success in the nursing profession. Classes are held during the day, with start dates in both August and February. Upon successful completion, graduates receive a certificate and are immediately eligible to take the NCLEX-PN examination, allowing them to pursue LPN licensure in Illinois.
